CiA groups
CAN in Automation (CiA) is a nonprofit organisation made up of members from around the world. The CiA General Assembly (GA) is the overarching organ and ultimate authority of the organization.
The CiA Business Committee establishes Marketing Groups (MG) for special topics and the CiA Technical Committee establishes Interest Groups (IG) with dedicated scopes. The MGs organize joint marketing activities. The IGs develop and maintain technical documents and may establish Special Interest Groups (SIG) and Task Forces (TF). Any CiA member may participate in any MG, IG, SIG, or TF meeting.
