CiA antitrust compliance statement

The CAN in Automation (CiA) international users’ and manufacturers’ group e. V. provides its members a platform to exchange experiences and to develop specifications in order to support interoperability between products based on the internationally standardized Controller Area Network (ISO 11898 series) and internationally standardized CAN-based higher-layer protocols such as CANopen (EN 50325 series).

All CiA members are committed to avoid any conflict with antitrust regulations. All meetings and CiA internal documents (e.g. specifications, recommendations, guidelines, and minutes) shall not contain any contravention to antitrust laws.

All CiA employees are advised and requested to respect antitrust regulations.

The CiA Board of Directors, the CiA Business and Technical Committees as well as all other CiA groups and task forces do not tolerate any violence of antitrust regulations. The chairpersons and the participating delegates of the CiA members are advised accordingly.
